“Big things happen when people with passion come together”
This quote perfectly captures what I experienced at Frappeverse 2024. Frappeverse held on October 3-4 at Nehru Centre in Mumbai, was a transformative event for me. As a firsttime attendee of any tech event, the two-day conference experience was filled with energy, opportunities, and invaluable learning. This annual gathering of the Frappe community brought together developers, partners, customers, and business owners from all around the world, and it became a key moment in my professional journey.
The event started with Rushabh Mehta’s insightful speech where he shared details about the event and his own journey. He highlighted the two-day event’s various sessions and what participants could expect.
Connecting with the Frappe Community
The opportunity to connect with members of the Frappe community—users, developers, consultants, and business owners—was immense. I was able to exchange ideas, hear success stories, and forge new relationships that I am sure will grow into lasting partnerships.
Meeting Rushabh Mehta, the founder of Frappe, was a moment I’ll never forget. Initially, I was nervous, wondering how someone of his stature would address me. But when I met him, I found him to be a humble, kind person who not only listened to what I had to say but also encouraged me to continue learning and growing within the Frappe ecosystem. It was a confidence-boosting interaction that left a lasting impact.
Hussain, another influential figure within Frappe, was someone I had long admired from a distance—watching his videos on YouTube and learning from his tutorials. Meeting him in person was a surreal experience. His guidance was a further affirmation that I’m on the right path, and his encouragement inspired me to push my boundaries even more.
Representing Indictrans at Frappeverse 2024
Our booth number was 1, located right at the entrance. Representing Indictrans at such a significant event was a proud moment. It reflected the hard work and vision of our directors—Kanhaiya kale Sir, Gupteshwar Joshi Sir, and Narendra Godse Sir—whos hard work made Indictrans a gold partner within the Frappe community. Many attendees were eager to learn more about our organization, and I had the privilege of showcasing some of our successful projects to a few business owners.
Kanhaiya Kale Sir delivered an inspiring Indictrans journey with Frappe, how it all began, and where it’s headed. He also highlighted how Indictrans has been instrumental in helping rural communities through government programs and technology training.
It was also a pleasure to meet representatives from Physics Wallah and DFM Food. Having worked on projects for such large enterprises fills me with pride and confidence, knowing that Indictrans has successfully implemented ERPNext systems for them.
Our entire team—Aachal, Sandesh, Tejas, Suryakant, and Nilima —came together to promote Indictrans in a way that showed how we continue to set the standard in the Frappe ecosystem. It was a collaborative effort, and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of such a fabulous team.
One of the most exciting moments for me was the recognition I received after my webinar on the Asset module. People began to recognize me, which was both thrilling andhumbling. I owe this recognition to my incredible team at Indictrans, who provided me with the opportunity and support to contribute meaningfully.
Event Highlights and Recognition
Throughout the event, we celebrated major milestones, such as Frappe receiving 20,000 stars for ERPNext on GitHub, 7,000 stars on Frappe, and 10,000 sites on Frappe Cloud. I also attended several insightful product update sessions on ERPNext, Frappe Learning, CRM, and Helpdesk.
Another interesting aspect of the event was the ‘Frappe Fight’—a lively discussion on whether AI is a bubble or not. It was fascinating to see how different perspectives were brought to the table.
Final Thoughts
Frappeverse 2024 has been a landmark experience in my career, giving me insights, connections, and recognition that will fuel my professional growth for years to come. The trust and respect people have for Indictrans and our directors, built over years of hard work, was evident throughout the event. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to represent such a reputable organization and look forward to contributing to future Frappe events and challenges.
This experience at Frappeverse 2024 has deepened my commitment to the open-source ERPNext and Frappe community. I left the event feeling motivated, equipped, and ready to bring innovative solutions to the table, while strengthening relationships with industry leaders and community members.
